ACT/CBS Background and Training: Since discovering ACT & its effectiveness to reduce suffering, I've been using it every day myself & it has been my main focus of study & use in my work with clients. I've done many ACT training courses with Russ Harris & also the Focused-ACT and FACT Mastery Course with Kirk Strosahl & Patti Robinson. I've done various ACT courses with SDS including achieving ACT Accreditation Level 4, recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS). I read/study anything and everything ACT-related & ACT is now my core therapeutic practice. I host an online ACT Peer Supervision Group for fellow practitioners, health professionals & skilled helpers to support each other as we practice using ACT together.
ACT/CBS Experience: I use ACT daily in my work with clients and on myself to improve my own experience of life.
